Résumé
Dans une étrange embarcation dérivant sur le canal, on retrouve le corps d’une jeune fille. Elle est nue, ses yeux sont bandés… Dans ce tableau macabre, on observe une recherche esthétique, presque poétique. Il n'y a ni plaie apparente, ni sang, ni trace de violence. L'exécution a dû être douce. Le tueur serait-il un homme attentionné ? Mais pourquoi alors abandonner le corps sur ces eaux lugubres ? Triste endroit pour prendre ton dernier bain, jeune fille !
Une enquête déconcertante commence pour le capitaine Barry : un lycée de jeunes filles, un club photo, des indices qui accusent chacune des camarades de la jeune morte…
The body of a young girl has been discovered in a strange boat drifting on the canal. She is naked and has been blindfolded. The grim scene testifies to some kind of aesthetic, almost poetic concern. There’s no visible wound, no blood, no trace of violence. She must have been executed with tenderness. Does it mean that the murderer is a considerate man? But then why did he abandon the body on those gloomy waters? What a sad place for your last bath, young lady!
For Superintendent Barry, this is the beginning of a disconcerting investigation: a girls-only high school, a photo club, and clues that point to each of the dead girl’s friends...
